Program Overview
The National Council of Asian American Business Associations (NCAABA) is proud to announce applications for the 2010 Supplier Academy in Dallas are available for submission. Only 50 suppliers will be selected to participate in this content rich supplier development and capacity building experience.
The NCAABA Supplier Academy is an extension of our commitment to provide the Asian Pacific American business community critical training that will enhance supplier development and improve the success of our community in securing corporate and public sector contracts.

Supplier Academy Curriculum Includes:
- How to Win and Maintain Corporate and Government Contracts
- How to Draft a Turn Around Business Plan in a Challenging Economy
- How to Work A Trade Show
- How to Create a Capabilities Presentation
- Mastering the Elevator Pitch (Video Capture and DVD)
- Corporate Head Shot Photograph
- Scholarships for NMSDC and WBENC certification are offered for first time applicants.
The Pre-Selection Committee will judge applicants based on criteria including: status as a minority or woman-owned firm, capacity to bid on corporate contracts, previous experience as 1st or 2nd tier supplier, geographic footprint, operational and organizational development, management, and demonstrated leadership in community. Extra points will be given to suppliers that are also members of NCAABA's Strategic Alliance Partner organizations.
Fees
If you are a member of one of NCAABA's Strategic Alliance Partners, your tuition will be waived, so if you are not already a member of one of NCAABA's Strategic Alliance Partners, we encourage you to become a member! If you are not a member of one of NCAABA's Strategic Alliance Partners, and you are selected for the NCAABA Academy, the cost of tuition is $119 (GDAACC member) / $149 (Non-member).
